Earlier this year BIGBANG set the world ablaze with their return performance at Coachella, but the biggest news that came from the set was this: BIGBANG IS BACK.
Teasing new music, a world tour and a little bit of everything in between, this week there has been more light shed.
So here is what we know so far.

BIGBANG 2026-2027 <XX: COSMOS>
Following up from their original tour date announcement and ticket sales for their shows in Seoul, Japan, USA, London and Paris, earlier this week, they announced a tour name along with the additional dates.
Titled <XX: COSMOS>, fans across the internet have been theorising the symbology: XX for the 20 years, COSMOS because it’s meaning of universe (which was created by the Big Bang).
Along with the original dates, two more shows have appeared on the revised flyer. A previously announced second date in Oakland, California (Tickets are onsale now, but we will get to that further down) and thankfully for Pinoy VIPs, a show in Manila scheduled for February.
Rumours are circulating that this will be phase one of the groups comeback extravaganza, but only time will tell.

TICKET SALES
After a brutal round of ticket sales, all three shows in Seoul sold out in record time. As it stands, the first show in Oakland, California, has sold out, with tickets to their show at MetLife in New York City close to sold out as well (find tickets here). There are still tickets available for the second night in Oakland; you can find those here.
Paris tickets and London tickets are still on sale, but they are disappearing. All VIP packages sold out in Paris, so get in quick here. There are still tickets available for London, so that is your best bet to get the spots you want on that side of the world. Check it out here.
Now, Japan is another story. This is where there are the most dates, with the group hitting up Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka with three shows in each city. So far, only two rounds of fan club lottery have gone on sale. The first being for JAPAN VIP FANCLUB members (this is different from B’Stage fanclub members), and you need to be a member or accompanied by a fanclub member in order to get these tickets. A more general sale lottery should be announced soon, we will keep you updated- but most likely you will need a Japanese phone number to enter the lottery.
As for the other dates, we do not have any ticket information as of yet, but stay tuned for information for the other Asia and Australia shows. For those whose shows have not yet been announced, make sure you are READY for a presale survey by signing up for the fan club on BStage. You will need to be a member by a certain time to register for the presale, so make sure you are ahead of the game by signing up here.

BANG BONG UPDATE
YG Select has finally unveiled the brand new BIGBANG Lightstick, a special 20th Anniversary Edition. Sales have not yet opened, and we do not know much more…but the trailer is fantastic so check it out below.
GOYANG PRE/POST CELEBRATIONS
If you happen to be in Seoul for the Goyang dates, or live in Seoul, then there a few activities to take part in while you are.
HAN RIVER EVENT
Before the 3 Goyang Concerts kick off, there will be a Han River Pre-Celebration. While it is a free event, reservations are essential. Check this post to find out more (or on Coupang Play App).
MEDIA EXHIBITION
After the shows, there will be a media exhibition to celebrate the 20th Anniversary. The poster itself has set tongues wagging a little, as the member’s silhouettes have raised question of their look for their comeback (unfortunately they may have been debunked with many VIPs online finding the old photos used in this graphic). For more information, check the flyer below.

NEW MUSIC RUMOURS
There has been no confirmation, but rumours across the internet have stated that the members were seen filming a music video. After a YouTube live on Zip Daesung where the members were answering questions in the comment section, the theme of ‘Traffic Lights’ has been circulating, and G-Dragon supposedly being spotted with yellow hair has fuelled this. The musical comeback has been rumoured for early August, with the possibility of three new songs being released over the comeback period.

UPDATE 5th of August: Rumours have been circulating that BIGBANG’s comeback single will drop on the groups debut anniversary, the 19th of August, but even those are unconfirmed. In the mean time, BIGBANG has uploaded a nostalgic playlist to their YouTube, featuring songs from the early part of their career. Give it a listen below.
OTHER INFORMATION
So far, the confirmed facts around this comeback are few and far between, but one thing is for certain: VIPs across the globe are welcoming the three remaining members with open arms.
At Fan Gal Channel, we want to also engage with the BIGBANG fan projects/clubs across the globe, so if you are running a fan project for any of the shows- please let us know so we can share!
