We know that getting into the world of music media can be rough.

We also know first-hand that getting some experience/somebody to give you a shot can also be hard.

Which is why we are doing a volunteer contributor call-out!

We are looking for aspiring writers, photographers and content creators who are PASSIONATE about their favourite artists and want to contribute to our FAN GAL CHANNEL CLUB.

These positions are unpaid at this point in time but we hope to change that soon.

So if you are looking to review/photograph shows or have a chance to try your hand at interviewing…or just simply want to talk about the artists from the worlds of Asia and Oceania Pop that you love- we would love to hear from you.

SOME THINGS TO NOTE BEFORE APPLYING:

While this is a volunteer position, we do expect a level of professionalism when contributing.
We love passionate fan gal behaviour, but if you find yourself often on the more toxic side of fan culture, then this space isn’t for you.

Our goal will be to get you to the shows you want to go to and talk about the things you love, so we want to make sure you are engaging with any task with a sense of professionalism. We have built and are building solid relationships across the industry, so any actions that jeopardise this will mean that we can no longer accept any contributions.

That being said, as this is volunteer, we know life gets in the way, so there is no baseline level of how much you have to contribute to stay in the contributor club. As long as you communicate, we are happy for you to drop in and contribute when you can.

Our focus is mainly pop from the Asia Pacific region, but when it comes to tours, we are more than happy for you to apply to review artists from other regions.

We do not expect experienced writers, photographers etc. If anything, we encourage beginners and aspiring creators to apply. In turn, we will offer as much mentorship and career-building opportunities as possible.
