Japanese girl group F5VE have been turning heads and winning hearts across the world. So much so that they very quickly sold out their two stops in Australia this coming October.

THE DEEP have also been developing a cult following of their own, with the South Korean artist challenging the normal conventions of the Asia Pop landscape. Bringing in influences from UKG and Y2K aesthetics, THE DEEP has been making a name for themselves.

With the success of the Sydney and Melbourne shows, the group has announced an additional date to be held in Brisbane, giving them a big East Coast run on their first stint down under. The new Brisbane date will take place at The Triffid on October 7th, before the tour hits Melbourne’s Prince Bandroom on the 8th and Sydney’s Manning Bar on the 9th.

The intersection of these two artists has already resulted in some incredible work, with THE DEEP remix f5ve‘s track ‘Magic Clock’.

f5ve‘s whimsical aura cannot be denied. The ‘inter-dimensional dream agents from Japan’ have been causing waves in the wider pop landscape, making their association with THE DEEP a match made in heaven. There is no wonder that their shows have been a must-see.
